Adrian Hobbs
Adrian Hobbs lives and works in Sydney. He makes his paintings using traditional oil techniques but in the end there's little that is traditional about them. They are an idiosyncratic exploration of how dynamic and shifting forces like change, contradiction, novelty, continuity and the unseen can all be represented in a static and visual manner.
Hobbs is represented by Gallery 9 in Sydney. His works are held in collections internationally. He has recently shown overseas in New York, Milan, and London.
