Claudia Damichi

Claudia Damichi’s work has always been characterised by a love of vivid colours, elaborate patterns and playful spatial proportions. Influences such as geometric optical art, vintage interior decor, 1980’s hyper coloured architectural spaces and disco aesthetic of the 1970’s are the visual cocktail she mixes with. Colour completely defines her agenda, then patterns slice and spice the pictorial spaces opening opportunities for colour to find its moment of resonance, a cha-cha of sorts, enabling colour to hold the dance floor.
